The Café Athénée, located within InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest, is the place to be in the city, where modern elegance meets culinary excellence.

Interna has been called to be part of the meticulous renovation of this café, producing and installing cosy niches with their leather upholstered walls, framed by glowing antiqued brass arches that give way to the luxurious benches and the elegant walnut tables and chairs; Interna also supplied the stylish brass display stands at the bar and the elements for the elegant counter and back bar. Interna produced all items upon exclusive design of the British studio Alexander James Interiors, manufacturing pieces of contemporary elegance, a blend of art deco style with neoclassical design. Interna has a long-lasting relationship with the InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest, having been also part of the original renovation project of the hotel in 2010 by supplying the loose furniture for the public areas.
