“Feeling in harmony with oneself is fundamental when travelling and so is the interior well-being that each place can transmit. For this reason, I took inspiration from my country of origin, Indonesia, to imagine tranquil spaces, spacious and luminous, yet intimate and warm. Subtle and smooth colours, sand, brown, ochre and orange, not forgetting the white of purity and inner calm, with precious yet primitive materials such as wood, bronze, stone, mosaic, and textured ceramic. Lights which blend in with shapes. All combined with innovative Western technology to feel at home even when away from home.”

Jaya Ibrahim, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Interna Group was commissioned by the prestigious international hotel chain GHM (General Hotel Management Ltd.) to provide the turnkey interiors for this hotel, their first hotel in Europe, located in the Italian capital of finance and fashion. All Interna Group brands, Interna Contract, Interna Collection and Logica, joined forces for the mammoth 12-month task of fully furnishing the public areas, its 250 guest rooms and suites, the apartments, the outdoor, and the “back of the House”, including the operative and executive offices of this project. The hotel wanted to make the guests feel at ease, in particular in the more intimate and private spaces, thus offering services like that of a gracious and elegant residence, while highlighting a refined and subtle luxury even in the furniture of the spacious and welcoming rooms created for a total physical and spiritual well-being.
